Anatomy of the Guitar

So here you have a guitar and want to learn to play, right? But first you should know your new baby something! Here is a diagram of an electric guitar, along with descriptions of the most important part.


Body : Most of the guitar, which is connected to the neck. In addition, here are the pickups and the bridge.

Bridge : The "bridge" is the part of the guitar are the strings on the bottom is threaded on the guitar.

Frets : Small metallic parts share the guitar neck in individual societies.

Head (headstock): At the head of the guitar are the strings attached and pull voted.



Neck ( fretboard): On the guitar neck, between the body and head, are used, the individual notes and chords.

Nut: At this point, out the strings on the guitar neck on the head of the guitar.

Pickup selector switch (pickup switch): The switch to the differences between the pickups can be switched.

Pickup : The pickup is a magnet that is wrapped in coils. The pickup is mounted under the strings and the pulses generated during play will be directed by the pickup to the amplifier.

Tremolo: The tremolo is a lever on the bridge of the guitar. By leveraging the pitch is changed during play.

Tuning Pegs: These small screws to tune the strings of the guitar.
